WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO TRAIN MY TEAM SO THEY UNDERSTAND THE RANGE?

A quick visit or hosting an event with The Gut Man is a sure fire way to propel sales and keep them high. When staff use the product themselves they understand first hand and can easily communicate the benefits to customers. We also have a range of helpful educational videos and written material, see Marketing Tools.

All initial orders receive a display stand (if required), A5 staff information guide, A6 customer brochures, practitioner notes  and a FREE copy of Don’s best-selling book, Have You Got The Guts To Be Really Healthy. For subsequent orders please specify if you need more brochures.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DISPLAY THE RANGE?

We know that Probiotic Foods sell when placed in the eye-catching stand (small footprint H 45cm L 27cm W 22cm). Sales increase when placed near the checkout and periodically rotated to the front of the store.

HOW CAN I USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO PROMOTE THE RANGE?

Probiotic Foods has an active community on Facebook and Instagram. Feel free to share our posts and you can access our web ready images via our Marketing Tools. We’d love to share your relevant content too. Send us photos (or tag @probioticfoods) of your display or a community event you are involved in so we can promote your business to our audience.

SHOULD I PUT PROBIOTIC FOODS IN THE REFRIGERATED SECTION? WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE?

Probiotic Foods are shelf stable. The good bacteria used in the fermentation process have been stressed to heat (55°C) and cold (0°C). You can display on the counter and customers can keep their pot on the bench in view, helping them create their daily Probiotic Foods ritual.

WHAT IS USE BY DATE ON PROBIOTIC FOODS?

The use by date of Probiotic Foods is 2 years. However lab reports show that even after 9 years of sitting on a shelf the product was still in virtually the same condition with alive and active bacteria.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TAKE PROBIOTIC FOODS?

You can eat it straight from a spoon, sprinkle on food or over a smoothie, or add to your favourite wholefood recipes. We also have recipes on the website that use Probiotic Foods.

HOW MUCH DO I RECOMMEND MY CUSTOMERS TO START WITH?

We recommend only 1/8th of a teaspoon for first time users, even if fermented foods are part of their existing diet. Slowly build up to ½ teaspoon on rising and ½ teaspoon before bed. For some people, ⅛ teaspoon may even be too much nutrition at first, so we suggest slowly educating the body to receive nutrition at this level. Customers can dip their finger into the blend or empty half a capsule, then gradually move to bigger quantities. This is a perfect method for young babies and pets too.

CAN CUSTOMERS CONTACT YOU DIRECTLY FOR SUPPORT?

Yes! We offer a Gut Help Hotline (07) 554 66 086 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to answer your customers’ curly questions to free you up at the checkout.

WILL MY CUSTOMERS LIKE THE TASTE?

We find most customers like the taste, however some people prefer to mix the foods with their meal or sprinkle over a smoothie. For those who prefer the convenience, we have created a capsulated version of the Probiotic Foods for Everyone and Probiotic Foods for Women blends.

WHAT STRAINS OF BACTERIA ARE USED IN THE FERMENTATION PROCESS?

The following probiotic strains have been used in the fermentation process of Probiotic Foods, and are all cultured from food—not dairy, fecal matter or laboratory bred: Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Lactobacillus Delbrueckii, Lactobacillus Caseii, Lactobacillus Bulgaricus, Lactobacillus Caucasus, Lactobacillus Fermenti, Lactobacillus Plantarum, Lactobacillus Brevis, Lactobacillus Helveticus, Lactobacillus Leichmannii, Lactobacillus Lactis, Bifidabacterium Bifidum, Saccharomyces Boulardii, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae.

CAN COELIACS TAKE PROBIOTIC FOODS?

All blends are made with gluten free ingredients, except for Probiotic Foods for Pets. Each batch is tested for gluten. Coeliacs can be confident that Probiotic Foods reaches international standards for gluten free.

WHAT IS THE CFU COUNT?

The Colony Forming Units vary in each batch due to the natural fermentation process. The beauty of the process is that the probiotics are alive and stable in their own food source, the prebiotic. Once consumed, the change in pH in the digestive tract activates the bacteria and they begin to multiply in their millions.

WHAT KIND OF QUALITY CONTROL IS USED IN THE PROCESS?

Probiotic Foods is certified organic by the Organic Food Chain. The fermentation process, storage and handling is monitored stringently and each batch is tested for CFU counts.

NO DAIRY, NO GLUTEN, NO GMO INGREDIENTS, NO COLOURS OR ADDED FLAVOURS, AND WITH NO PRESERVATIVES OR FILLERS.
